Another Spring Sunday Morning

Rusty and Splash enjoy the relaxed weekend mornings when we enjoy the cool temperatures while playing in the backyard. Splash loves to be on her back so we can scratch her belly or just let gravity stretch her old muscles. She gets a mischievous look in her eyes after rolling around in the grass. What a funny girl! Rusty likes to nibble on sweet spring grass in the morning. A little salad before breakfast.

Let's Play

Here's Rusty waiting for someone to play ball with him. It's funny to watch him picking up the basketball, willing his mouth to open just enough to get a good grip on the ball.

A Golden Life

Sam and I share our home with two golden retrievers, Rusty and Splash. We adopted five year old Rusty in May 2004 and 15 year old Splash came to live with us in July 2005. Both Rusty and Splash came to us from Gold Ribbon Rescue, the local golden retriever rescue group.
